We are proud to present Brollo Solar, Marcegaglia’s photovoltaic system made using UNI-SOLAR® technology. A layer of thin film photovoltaic cells fitted to Marcegaglia insulated panels and metal plates, able to absorb the sun’s rays and produce electricity.

The product

Marcegaglia’s photovoltaic panel is a large engineering product that embodies the innovative features of UNI-SOLAR® thin-film photovoltaic cells and Brollo panels and metal plates.

Brollo Solar allows cutting production costs while yielding
more energy during the course of the year, for better exploitation of direct and diffused light. Sensitivity to high temperatures is also lower compared to crystalline photovoltaic panels.

Brollo Solar is especially suitable for industrial roofs, including those with low pitches, such as sheds, shopping centres and sports facilities

Government incentives

The Italian government provides a system of incentives that reward the production of electricity using photovoltaic panels
(ENERGY ACCOUNT).

In particular, as the Brollo Solar photovoltaic panel is integrated in the roof, it obtains the highest incentive for every kW/h produced compared to non-integrated photovoltaic systems (+20%).

A further incentive (5%) can be obtained in case of the replacement of an “Eternit” roof. V.A.T. for the purchase of photovoltaic products is only 10%.
