GUARDRAIL
Within the building and infrastructure corporate branch
of Marcegaglia, the guardrail division develops and
manufactures steel road safety barriers according to
UNI EN 1317.
The product range includes N2, H1, H2, H3, H4B containment
level barriers, single sided, for bridge and for central
reserve, plus the highly innovative steel New Jersey
barrier, all made of hot dip galvanized steel.
Guardrail production is fully integrated in the controlled
value chain of Marcegaglia steel: top-quality
raw material is pickled, cold-rolled, hot-dip galvanized
and colour coated then cut to length in Europe’s
largest service center.
After that, all safety barrier solutions are engineered,
assembled and tested in order to comply with specific
requirements in the ISO 9001-certified manufacturing
plant in Pozzolo Formigaro.
