Calibration of instruments
The calibration activities are a key phase
in the process of metrological control, that
periodically involves all instruments and measuring tools,
as required by the UNI EN 30012 standard.
These activities are essential to meet the standard UNI EN
ISO 9001 (quality systems management).
Activities of the calibration center
The Marcegaglia Elet.Ca calibration center is designed to
perform, following comparative methodologies, measurements
of several physical properties, such as:
On-site calibration activities
Marcegaglia Elet.Ca can offer, for some instruments, a calibration
service at the customerês site.
This option eliminates the risks associated to the shipment
of the instruments, but has the disadvantage for the customer
of higher service costs and travel expenses, besides a degradation
of the measurement accuracy, as a consequence of the non-ideal
environmental conditions and the instruments used on the field.
The on-site calibration can be performed
for all properties listed above
