Marcegaglia Elet.Ca continue incessantly to carry out investments for research activity in the electronic,
electro-mechanical and advanced composite sectors to meet continue enquiries by italian and foreign Customers.

Composite Materials

- The Composite Division, in continuous expansion, is performing analysis and test on composite materials to be used for ballistic protections.

The goal of the research is to minimize weight, without compromising the protection, both on the anti-debris and anti-bullet panels.

Elet.Ca is currently studying, to improve the ballistic protection, flexible protections to make easier the mounting and to fit them to unevenness surfaces.

Electromechanical Products

- The range of slip-rings has been improved with a new AUROTAC model;
it is the AUROTAC Series 48 including, besides signal channels, those ones for current up to 40 A.
Thanks to new researches, a new device for data transfer at 1 Gigabit (LAN nets) has been developed. The carrying out of prototypes and tests on materials for performance of new types of slip-rings continues.

- To meet new market strategies, Elet.Ca performs analysis and tests on Integrated Control dashboards of indicators / sensors for employing on special vehicles, by using new materials and innovative electronic systems, with application of new design as well as research addressed to make easier the assembling and connection procedure .
