ELASER

ELLETRE's patented ELASER is a device for measuring the diameter of the tube as it leaves the manufacturing machine.

The addition of diameter measurement devices with laser technology on tube manufacturing lines, is a key technological tool to help increase production efficiency and quality with immediate positive implications in terms of competitiveness. Marcegaglia ELLETRE proposes ELASER , an innovative system based on a rotating sample technology for measuring tubes with diameters up to 24 inches.

ELASER is a modular system available as a Standard Pack that can be extended with various add-ons: a   Tracking Module and a Quality Module.

The Standard Pack, comprising a rotary mechanical system with laser gauge, includes the following functions:

- Measuring heads rotation speed regulation
- Industrial P.C. for control and monitoring
- Diameter and deviation read-out
- Memorization and display of the minimum, maximum and medium diameter and the ovality of each single tube
