ELCOS
SCRAP OPTIMIZATION SOFTWARE
A new version of the scrap optimisation software has been
released. New functions have been added in consideration
of
the standard
ISO-TS which concerns continuous improvement
for industrial automation.
This software is suitable to be used in any welded tube
mill where cutting is performed by means of a flying cutoff.
Depending on the application, it has proved to reduce scrap.
A demonstration version is available in order to simulate
production improvements.
For this motive ELCOS needs an external device of survey
of the defect, identifiable with the classical equipments
NDT.
