ELSIM

ELSIM is a simulation software module that allows you to evaluate:

- the location of the bottlenecks in the production process and estimates a possible reduction;

- by how much the average (or maximum) lead time will be modified following a production flow change;

- if a different scheduling policy will reduce setup times;

- the impact of placing a new product in the production process;

- if the productive capacity can adequately satisfy current and/or future demands;

- the size of the interoperational buffer required if the line is subject to breakdown or jamming;

- how to measure the efficiency of the individual production areas;

- the optimal number of operators to employ;

- if it is possible to improve the production plans;

- if it is possible to recover production efficiency without making further investments;
