ELTAV5 is Marcegaglia ELLETRE solution to speed and accurancy challenges with on-the-fly cutoffs .

ELTAV 5, the result of over fifteen years experience in the continuous production sector, is an innovative product that integrates the main flying cut-off functions in a single microprocessor board.

The simple configuration and the communication via field bus, Ethernet and Profibus DP, make ELTAV5 both safe and easy to use.  

ELTAV5 can manage both linear and rotary cuts ; the system does not require programming , but the numerous functions and options already contained in it can simply be selected through use of parameters.

The interface with the most commonly used non-destructive quality tests results in a correct and reliable management of the cut product, at decidedly advantageous costs .

INNOVATION

Eltav5 adds greater definition to cut cycle management through customised trajectories even for special profiles : a positioning profile both for translation and rotation can be expressed for each axis using CAMeditor.

These new trajectories, having evolved from a collaboration with university researchers, are particularly suitable for systems with belt drive and AC motors.

Sophisticated algorithms considerably improve the rounding levels of the trajectory, which greatly reduce the mechanical stress.
