QUALITY and ENVIRONMENT POLICY

This document defines the Quality and Environment Policy adopted by IMAT S.p.A. and related goals and commitments for the continuous improvement of the whole organization.
IMAT S.p.A. undertakes to achieve these goals with its own mission of a renewed commitment for product quality, customer satisfaction, innovation and environmental protection; IMAT S.p.A. intends therefore to manage in a systematic and integrated way all the problems related to Quality and the Environment through an Integrated Quality and Environment Management System in compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 international standards

The production of components and refrigeration systems intended for the white goods sector , like all human activities, has an impact on our surrounding environment. In order to protect the ecosystem we live in, we decided to apply an Environmental Management System in conformity with the international standard UNI EN ISO 14001 that ensures the full respect of the legal requirements in force, set working methods for pollution prevention in relation to direct and indirect aspects, and continuously improves our environmental performances.

A precise analysis about our activities allowed us to set some priority targets that we want to follow up:
- maximum optimization of raw material utilization with a reduction in scraps and defectiveness;
- reduced emission of polluting substances into the atmosphere
- improved management of the water employed for technological purposes in order to reduce waste and pollution.

With the certainty that an Integrated Quality and Environment Management System is a basic requirement to assure our customers a high quality of service in accordance with the protection of our common environmental patrimony, we are committed to making the necessary human and financial resources and relevant technical competence available to support our system.
