BAU 2017 Munich: materials and solutions for the construction industry at the world's leading trade fair
How will be the future of the construction industry? Which materials and which innovative solutions will be showcased to the market? Today BAU 2017, the most important event of the sector for designers, architects and building engineers, opens its doors in Munich. The numbers are relevant: 2,120 exhibitors (34% from abroad), more than 183,000 sqm of exhibition space, that have become the point of reference for business opportunities in the industry. The exhibition is arranged in 17 total halls, hosting the leading players of the entire supply chain: concretes, woods, ceramics, roofs, roofing among others, with also a space dedicated to the steel: to reaffirm the increasingly key role that this material is acquiring in the construction industry (structural steels) as much as the main material - widely used, for example, in Northern Europe - as consistent with an integrated construction in countries such as Italy, with a building tradition more related to concrete. In this scenario, Marcegaglia shows its range of pre-painted steels in hall B2 stand 523, manufactured according to EN 10169, and its latest novelties SHIMOCO - a coating system with polyester resins, particularly resistant to UV and corrosion; exclusive Marcegaglia - and WOODEN PATTERN system, that combines the quality of the Marcegaglia' steel with the aesthetic value of a finish that simulates the wood effect, in four colours (maple, light oak, dark oak and dark walnut) and 3 finishes (smooth, polyamide and wrinkled). At the same time Marcegaglia Buildtech shows its range of insulated panels for wall and roof and panels for sectional doors.
