The production of carbon and stainless cold-drawn
steel - Marcegaglia’s certified
quality - is placed in the production mill of
Contino (Mantova, Italy).
The manufacturing lines occupy an area of 80,000
square meters (45,000 covered);
among them 8 combined drawing machines, 3
drawbenches, 7 grinding machines,
2 peeling machines, ultrasound
testers, cutting machines and chamfering machines.
The plant production capacity is more than 200
thousand tons per year; 35,000 tons
is the in-stock supply of products with diameter
dimensions from 3 to 130
