Marcegaglia celebrates this year the twentieth anniversary of pre-painted steel: a goal that confirms us as the European reference partner in the segment, where we represent about 10% of total consumption, serving over 200 customers. 
A success achieved thanks to the passionate and constant work of a team which, in addition to consolidating very strong commercial relationships with all the different customers, has operated with progressive technological innovations and continuous implementations on resins, pigments and additives, to give to the pre-painted products high performance of workability and durability over time, even in highly aggressive environments.  
In the development of increasingly verticalized products, Marcegaglia has also equipped itself with a process innovation: within its Ravenna production center, in fact, it has installed a second technologically advanced pre-painting line capable of manufacturing in a combined and continuous both galvanized and pre-painted, in order to respond to any market request.  
Thanks to the know-how acquired in pre-painted steels, Marcegaglia is now ready for the “Marcegaglia Digital Print” new challenge, the in-line digital printing technology on pre-painted galvanized steel, applied to the continuous processing of coils on a large scale. An innovative solution that will make it possible to satisfy every need for creativity, up to the extreme customization of any semi-finished steel element, and that aims to bring the steel industry into the modern era, closer to architecture and design world.
