At Made in Steel, the international event dedicated to the steel industry, the session titled “Industry & Steel 2050” took place. This event, held in the siderweb Conference Room, served as a platform to discuss the future direction of the steel sector up to 2050 and to explore how geopolitical, technological, and industrial factors will influence its development.

Moderated by Francesca Morandi, the conversation featured President Antonio Marcegaglia and Franco Bernabè examining key topics such as artificial intelligence and its impact on the steel manufacturing supply chain, as well as the evolution of global trade and Europe’s and Italy’s roles within new political and industrial balances.

Two words summed up the discussion: cohesion and courage.
