Paloma Aba Garrote, Director of the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), visited the Ravenna plant.

Here, she explored the site’s unique characteristics and gained deeper insight into the projects of a steel company increasingly committed to innovation and sustainability.

The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss AdriatiCO₂, the CO₂ capture project supported by CINEA through the Innovation Fund. AdriatiCO₂ is a key component of the Group’s decarbonization strategy and can make a significant contribution to the European climate-neutrality goals, aiming to establish a new benchmark for decarbonization within Italy’s industrial steel sector.
