Cromatica – Marcegaglia Steel at Fuorisalone 2025: steel meets design

From April 7 to 17, 2025, Cromatica – Marcegaglia Steel will be the protagonist at the Fuorisalone in Milan with the exhibition “Be Up” inside the Cortile d’Onore of the University of Milan. An impressive and visionary installation, designed by architect Simone Micheli, that will take visitors on an immersive journey between architecture and innovation.
Cromatica, thanks to the customization technology developed by Marcegaglia, based on printing on steel, will cover, in collaboration with Sandrini Metalli, the large arched portal of the installation with Corten-effect printed surfaces. A demonstration of how steel can become artistic and architectural expression, adapting to any creative vision with endless chromatic and sensory possibilities.
Be Up is a concept that combines luxury, nature and sustainability, presenting the design of an exclusive mountain resort in Valbona, Albania. The installation interprets the “Cre-Action” theme proposed by INTERNI, promoting the dialogue between culture, design and technology through a monolithic and curvilinear work, enriched by light games, sensory elements and high-definition video walls.
Cromatica – Marcegaglia Steel thus renews its commitment to the enhancement of steel as a key element for contemporary architecture, offering innovative solutions for the design and customization of spaces.
We look forward to seeing you at the vernissage, an opportunity to discover how steel becomes an expression of art and avant-garde, from the voice of President Antonio Marcegaglia and the other protagonists of the project.
