This morning, Chairman Emma Marcegaglia attended the Sweden-Italy Business Forum at the Svenska Institutet i Rom – Swedish Institute in Rome, hosted by Business Sweden and the Swedish Embassy in Italy.

Following the institutional addresses from Ebba Busch, Minister for Energy, Business, and Industry, and Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden, and Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, a bilateral meeting took place with Minister Busch, focusing on Marcegaglia’s investments in Sweden at Marcegaglia Fagersta Stainless.

The Group was also invited to participate in the roundtable discussions; colleague Barbara Gervasoni addressed the topic of decarbonization in the steel industry, highlighting Marcegaglia’s commitment and projects for increasingly sustainable steel production.
