In an inspiring gathering at the Casa Marcegaglia theater, Piccola Industria Confindustria, in collaboration with Piccola Industria Confindustria Lombardia, focused on the essential role of supply chains.

At the heart of the meeting, attended by over 100 entrepreneurs including the President of Piccola Industria Confindustria, Giovanni Baroni, was the firsthand account of two specific production supply chains. The steel industry was represented by Aldo Fiorini, COO of Marcegaglia Carbon Steel, as the supply chain leader; along with Massimiliano De Rico, sole director of Elle Emme Logistica; Giuseppe Mascio, sole director of Mascio Engineering; and Franco Pasetti, sole director of the namesake company. The food supply chain was led by Fabio Viani, Chairman of the Board of Molino Pasini, and Fabio Perini, President of the Quadrifoglio Cooperative.

Thanks to an analysis by Alessandro Fontana, Director of the Confindustria Study Center, efforts were made to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the supply chains, identify areas for potential improvement, and outline actions to support the growth of SMEs and the development of increasingly robust and competitive supply chains.

The proceedings, moderated by Corrado Binacchi and Monica Viviani from Gazzetta di Mantova, were opened by Giorgio Luitprandi, President of Piccola Industria Confindustria Lombardia, and concluded by Mirko Bragagnolo, Vice President of Piccola Industria Confindustria. The event was further enriched by contributions from Antonio and Emma Marcegaglia, along with Armando De Crinito, General Director for Economic Development of the Lombardy Region.
