A recognition of the value of “silent” service to institutions

Premio SPES 2026
8 May 2026

In the heart of Rome, in the splendid Casino dell’Aurora at Palazzo Pallavicini Rospigliosi, the SPES Award 2026 was presented to Ugo Zampetti, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Italian Republic.

Promoted by the AISES Foundation, chaired by Valerio de Luca, Director of the SPES Academy “Carlo Azeglio Ciampi”, the Award, now in its first edition, was established with the aim of honoring those who, through commitment and institutional responsibility, support our Republic and its founding values every day.

A tribute made even more meaningful by the fact that it was awarded by an all-female jury: alongside Chairwoman Emma Marcegaglia and the President of the Award, Giuseppina Rubinetti, lawyer and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Minister of Justice, the jury included Alessandra Dal Verme, Director of the State Property Agency; Andreina Draghi, art historian and Member of the Board of Directors of the AISES Foundation; journalist and writer Maria Latella; Renata Cristina Mazzantini, architect and Director of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art; Daria Perrotta, State Accountant General; and Maria Teresa Sempreviva, Prefect and Chief of Staff to the Minister of the Interior.
