The Green Economy Festival kicked off yesterday in Parma, promoted by ItalyPost in partnership with L’Economia of Corriere della Sera.

Hosted in the park surrounding Crédit Agricole Italia’s offices, the event brought together entrepreneurs, institutional leaders, researchers and students to explore the key challenges of the transition, ranging from innovation and the circular economy to decarbonization and sustainable growth.

Among the day’s highlights was Antonio Marcegaglia, who – following an address by Crédit Agricole Italia CEO Hugues Brasseur – closed the event with an interview led by Nicola Saldutti.

Discussions focused on the state of the steel industry, the need to balance sustainability with competitiveness and the determination of entrepreneurs who continue to invest — something clearly reflected, in our case, in the Marcegaglia Fos-sur-Mer industrial project.
